SUMMARY:Family Collective
DESCRIPTION:Our Family Collective is our monthly support group for foster\, adoptive and kinship families.  Each month\, we gather together for pizza\, salad\, and then break off into sessions pending age/grade.  Each session is led by local therapists who are trauma informed and want to support our families. \nBoundaries aren’t something we’re born with—they’re something we learn and create. While developing boundaries is a lifelong journey\, the foundation is laid in our early years\, when our character is taking shape. In today’s culture\, maintaining boundaries can be challenging\, yet crucial. SUMMARY:Certified Babysitter Training
DESCRIPTION:Foster families need community and support! Becoming a Certified Babysitter is a great way to help children in foster care. \nWe are excited to offer a one time training that we partner with local child placing agencies to certify sitters for foster families.  Participating agencies include 4Kids4Families\, Arrow\, Bair\, Rekindle\, TBHC\, Methodist Children’s Home\, Grace Manor\, Christian Homes\, Azleway\, UpBring\, Hope Haven\, Buckner\, Compass Connection and Noble. \nFirst Aid and CPR begins promptly at 5pm and the class starts at 6:00. Dinner will be provided for those attending in person. \nOnce you have attended this training\, completed all the paperwork and become Infant and Child CPR and First Aid you will be able to serve families for up to 72 hours.  You must be 21 or older. \nWe are offering an option to attend Virtually via Zoom. Please choose that option at check out.\nIf you need CPR/First Aid\, you will need to pay an additional $50 to E&E Heartsavers. Their Venmo is Nancy-Elliott-CPR. Then text Nancy at 903-714-5101 your name and email address to get started on the online portion of the course. \nThe hands on portion of the CPR/First Aid will begin at 5:00.   \nRegister Here
