SUMMARY:Family Collective
DESCRIPTION:Parenting a child who has experienced trauma and also struggles with ADHD can bring unique challenges\, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. Join us as Toni Garrett\, LPC\, NC\, ADHD-CCS\, shares practical\, trauma-informed strategies\, insight\, and encouragement to help caregivers better understand and support their children\, while kids enjoy fun\, hands-on activities to learn about their amazing brains and practice skills that build self-regulation. \nOur Family Collective is our monthly support group for foster\, adoptive and kinship families. Each month\, we gather for pizza and salad\, then break off into sessions by age/grade. Each session is led by local therapists who are trauma informed and want to support our families.  If you are coming but not planning to have dinner\, please email laura@thefosteringcollective.org. \nLocation – South Spring Baptist Church 17002 Hwy 69 in Tyler.\nDinner will be served from 5:30-6:00pm. Sessions will run from 6:00 – 7:00pm. \nContact Tiffany Davault at tiffany@thefosteringcollective.org or 903-253-9144 for more information. \nPlease note the date: August 31st – this will serve for August and September meetings. \nRegister Here
