Interoception is sometimes known as the “8th sense”.  What is it?

Interoceptoin is the sense of your body’s internal state.  Many times trauma hijacks our body’s ability to interpret internal signals and big behaviors take over.  During Play it Out we will integrate interoception-focused activities into play for parents and children to experience together.  This approach not only benefits the child but also strengthens the parent-child bond through shared understanding and communication.  Come play!
