The Family Collective-Connecting to God, Others and Ourselves

Our Family Collective is our monthly support group for foster, adoptive and kinship families. Each month, we gather together for dinner and then break off into sessions pending age/grade. Each session is led by local therapists who are trauma informed and want to support our families.
This month we are going to focus on connection. We are made for relationships and building connection is important to thrive. Let’s talk about connecting with God, others and ourselves. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says “So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you’re already doing this: just keep on doing it.” Being present is the essence of connection. Come be a part of our community.
Location- South Spring Baptist Church 17002 Hwy 69 in Tyler.
Dinner will be served from 5:30p – 6p.
Sessions will run from 6:00p – 7p.
