At noon on Fridays once a month, we have a dad support group that meets at Whataburger.
This group is led by Jeff Sowell and Tony Black, 2 adoptive dads who love Jesus and want to walk with you as you lead your homes as caregivers to kids that have been exposed to trauma.

We are partnering with the UT Tyler Occupational Therapy Masters Program to bring you a Sensory Experience. Crowds, noises, bright lights, smells, surprises, change in routine, and more can make life difficult for our children exposed to trauma. Kids with sensory issues often struggle with regulating and experience a lot of meltdowns. As a family you will go through each sensory room to learn about how they are processed and get tools to help with meeting sensory needs. We will meet at South Spring Baptist Church 17002 Hwy 69 in Tyler in their Children’s Building.

The Fostering Collective, For the Sake of One and Embrace Texas are partnering together to host a Dads Connect Retreat January 24th-26th for foster, adoptive and kinship dads in Broken Bow, OK!
Our guest speaker for the weekend is foster/ adoptive dad Jason Johnson. Jason is a writer and speaker who encourages families and equips church and organizational leaders on their foster care and adoption journeys. He currently serves as the National Director of The Pure Religion Project with Christian Alliance for Orphans.

For the Sake of One and The Fostering Collective are partnering together to host our annual Mom Connect Retreat February 28th-March 2nd for foster, adoptive and kinship moms. This years focus is "The Battle". Spoiler alert: God wins!!!
Our guest speaker for the weekend is Pam Parrish author of several books and one of our favorites "Battle Weary Parents". A little bit about Pam. She is a Follower of Jesus Christ. Mom of seven incredibly beautiful and amazing young women. Nana to four spunky grandchildren. Foster Care and Adoption Advocate. Founder and President of Connections Homes, an Atlanta-based organization working with young adults who've aged out of foster care, are homeless or otherwise without family. It's going to be a great time together. Who's in?
