Play is a need for both children and adults. It is key component of a healthy, thriving adult-child relationship yet many of us have lost the ability to play. Sadly, many children who have experienced trauma don’t even know HOW to play. We are thrilled to have Chantel Longino, LCSW with us this month to guide the adults through the very serious topic of PLAY! Can’t wait to see you!
Our Family Collective is our monthly support group for foster, adoptive and kinship families. Each month, we gather together for dinner and then break off into sessions pending age/grade. Each session is led by local therapists who are trauma informed and want to support our families.
Location- South Spring Baptist Church 17002 Hwy 69 in Tyler.
Dinner will be served from 5:30p – 6p.
Sessions will run from 6:00p – 7p.
